Holding a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv — one of Eastern Europe’s top-tier legal institutions — Kate has dedicated her career to making the law accessible, transparent, and actionable for the digital age.

As a former Contract Lawyer at Unicheck, Kate managed complex legal operations that required a deep understanding of both local and international regulations. Her portfolio includes drafting and auditing high-level corporate documents, from NDAs and Reseller Agreements to sophisticated international tax structures involving BEPS (Base Erosion and Profit Shifting) and WHT (Withholding Tax) compliance. She also specialized in digital governance, creating foundational documents like Privacy Policies and Data Processing Agreements (DPA) for global platforms.

At Loio, Kate serves as the bridge between strict legal requirements and user-centric content design. With a Master’s in Journalism, she applies Legal Design principles to every guide and template, ensuring that Loio’s resources are not only 100% compliant with US law but also intuitive for business owners.
